  PRODUCTS
All our products are ecologically clean, free of preservatives and artificial chemicals, certified by the Estonian Plant Production Inspectorate according to the EU Council Regulation No 2092/91 of June 24, 1991 on organic production of agricultural products and indication referring thereto on agricultural products and foodstuffs.

The list of products currently includes:
- frozen sea-buckthorn berries;
- sea-buckthorn juice (not ready for drinking, dilute with water 1:4);
- sea-buckthorn nectar (ready for drinking);
- sea-buckthorn jam (berries with seeds 50%, glucose-fructose syrup
   as sweetener, pectin as thickener).

The jam is one of our first products and it is fundamentally different from most other sea-buckthorn jams. To guarantee maximal healthfulness, the seeds have been left in, and since they have been crushed the jam is good for digestion and the human body can obtain even more microelements and bioactive substances. What also adds to its healthfulness is the glucose-fructose syrup we use instead of sugar, making it suitable for diabetics, small children and weight-watchers. Even pectin used as thickener is purely natural, originating
from apple peel.

We apply the same high quality standards to our juice and nectar as well. These products have reached the end-phase of development and are ready to be of interest to possible whole-sale buyers and other co-operation partners. They are remarkable because, unlike other sea-buckthorn juices and nectars, they do not settle, but maintain their bright colour, taste and aroma.

We are interested in finding contacts and co-operation partners in food, cosmetic and pharmaceutical industries.

ABOUT PRODUCTION
The most important aspect in production of high-quality sea-buckthorn items is fast and effective harvesting and storage - berries must not be damaged while harvesting, in contact with oxygen berries start losing their value immediately. Products made of damaged berries are unpleasant in taste and hideous in colour. To avoid this, we have developed unique techniques for harvesting and storing the berries as well as for making products of them.

  The special feature of our harvesting is that we cut the berries with branches and freeze them instantly with liquid nitrogen. The result of that is a 'late harvest' type of rolling berry which is undamaged and full of its initial healthful ingredients. Our techniques of production have also been developed, keeping in mind the preservation of all the valuable qualities of the berries. So we have cut the time of production to minimum and process the berries as little as possible. That is how we can be sure of the genuineness of our products - they reach the customer in their full glory, with all the vitamins and minerals intact.

ABOUT THE FUTURE
Since the Estonian climate and soils are excellent for sea-buckthorn cultivation, CA A-mari is determined to carry on the popularization of sea-buckthorn cultivation in Estonia. In several countries (Finland, Germany, Spain, Russia, China) one can see extending sea-buckthorn plantations while driving through the country-side.

This could be the picture to enjoy in Estonia as well - cultivating sea-buckthorn is friendly to the environment, profitable and relatively simple. Thanks to several years of work, we can, besides quantity, also offer quality - our young plants and recommended techniques for cultivation, harvesting, storage and production result is what we call a pearl-berry - a maximal-quality berry, harvested with branches when fully ripe, separated from the branches and cleaned when frozen through. Berries harvested in such a way remain fully unharmed and their bioactive properties do not change - producing ideal quality.

A-mari takes the sea-buckthorn into the masses as well. In 2004, in co-operation with the Estonian Sea-buckthorn Union and a large number of helpers, we brought over 10 tonnes of natural sea-buckthorn juice to the biggest Estonian national cultural event, the Song and Dance Festival. Over 40,000 cups of juice were distributed to the organisers as well as people taking part in the Main Procession of the Festival. The aim was not only to energize the attenders with a delicious drink, but also to introduce a crop so suitable in our climate and by far the richest in nutrients in this part of the world.
